Climate bait

.
In the following video you can see news articles and a petition made by thousands of American
scientists, even intercepted emails showing that the facts are being manipulated to support the
idea that climate change is product of CO2 emissions in order to create a new global tax, the
carbon tax.
The climate change issue is being used as an excuse to make more money, is clear to see it
analyzing the results from the last Copenhagen meeting, where they only agreed to lent money
to 3rd world countries "to stop CO2 emissions".

Please use pause and read the quoted articles in this video.

Also happy new year for all of you, turn off the fucking TV and never stop using your head.

Collapse by Michael Ruppert

.
I just finished watching Collapse, basically it's a one hour interview to Michael Ruppert
in which he shows how dependent is our civilization on oil, how we are running out of it
drastically and what will happen and what you can do when the shit hits the fan.
He also analyzes the problems with the "alternative energies" and also shows that the lack of oil
isn't only a energetic issue because we use oil and oil derivatives in every fucking thing
constructed by any human being.
I really liked it and strongly recommend it, it will make you think...

Offensive Security Exploit Database

.

Probably most of you know Offensive Security guys because of their security Linux distro
"Backtrack", they have a new project, called "Exploit Database", and is as it name shows an
alternative to milw0rm or inject0r.

The project started in November, and it has some really nice features, for instance you can see
the exploits source code with colors like in a compiler which makes it easier to read, you can
download the exploits using your SVN client and also pressing a button you can download the
exploit or the vulnerable application if its available and doesn't violate the copyright.
The search engine its more powerful than the one used in milw0rm and it seems to work like
charm.

I think this project has a bright future

Check it at http://www.exploit-db.com/

Thanks Powertech for the heads up ;)

Fede Alvarez’s ‘Panic Attack’

.
Fooking awesome!
The short film Panic Attack has garnered Uruguayan filmmaker Fede Alvarez an unusual amount
of attention in Hollywood. As Borys Kit recently reported, Alvarez started getting calls almost
immediately, and is already in LA being courted for upcoming projects. Rumor has it that the pic
was made for about $300.

Mininova Alternatives

.
It sucks that mininova went legal, until something better appears you can use

mononova.org
torrentzap.com

Demonoid was a nice tracker but always for one thing or the other are offline,
and I don't like to use The Pirate Bay since their selling rumors, I even deleted
my account, but sometimes I end up looking for something in there, the problem
is they don't have a browsable index.

Hair pins and wafer locks

.
Hair pins are a lockpicker's best friend, there is nothing better except for the
keys to open handcuffs, and today I was bored at work and discovered a cool new way
to use a hair pin.

My desk drawer has a wafer lock as most drawers have, those locks are really easily opened
using a technique called raking, rapidly sliding the pick past all the wafers, repeatedly, in order to
bounce the wafers until they reach the shear line.

To do that technique you need to use a pick called "rake"

If you inspect a hair pin you'll see it has a serrated side, the idea is to use that to rake the lock,
but if you bend the hair pin like in the following picture you can use the pin as a torsion bar too.

The idea is to insert the bent hair pin turning it like a key but also raking it in the lock, you'll
need to use both hands to do that, one hand in each end of the hair pin.
Here is a picture ...

Man this shit works like charm, you should try it, and remember to always carry a
hair pin with you :D
